WHATS THE ANSWER ?
« on: April 01, 2010, 02:21:28 AM »
!@#   If you had 100 people in a room who had never ever played a pinball machine before, and you wanted them to experience the full experience of what playing a pinball machine was all about, what 3 x machines would you place inside to get them involved so that they might go out and look for a machine to buy, or at least walk away having felt the fun of our hobby.  !@# (lets just assume all machines were accessible for the purposes of purchasing)

What 3 machines would you let 100 virgin players have a go at, so as to provide the very best of what pinball is about and why ?  !@#

my choices are -

teenage mutant ninja turtles - bright colours-eye candy, fun game, not too hard or too easy, fun audio, fun shots, well known theme/characters

indianna jones (original) - great looker, fun to play, lots of depth, great audio and great dot matrix - well known theme

black knight 2000 - best light show on earth, very challenging, fast game, great colours, makes u work to fight the machine- best audio cranked

(fishtales, star trek next gen, simpsons-stern all just missed the cut by inches)  @.@

X2 I'm with Rod on this one.

Number 1 for me would be Gorgar, great lighting, colours, art, simple, but will cause just enough frustration to make a newbie pissed off enough to push that start button over and over and over again.

FT has to feature in all circumstances. I do not know a machine that fullfils its objective better than this pin. FT is the bees knees!

Playing it today, and thinking how bloody lucky I am to own such a sweet player  ()
