what a waste, these pictures chill me to the bone. i get the same feeling watching the most horrifying horror movie.
i would get great pleasure in telling these people how many thosands of dollars they have thrown away by doing this.

I've got a game from that very flood in my restoration queue.



New bottom in the cab, parts well cleaned, and for the most part, not much worse for the wear. I got it from a friend who restored several of the PAPA games for the owner.

It'll be a very nice game when I get to it and finish it out.

I imagine most of the metal brackets would be rusted under the PF as well? Looks a big job!

I often have this really stupid thought that whilst i am out at work, a fire starts from one of my 28 pinball machines, then the house burns down and i lose my entire collection, plus everything else.       

So, i turn every dam power point off before i drive off for the day. An electrical fire is the most likely culprit to damage any collection in this country.

The above photos, are a timely reminder to insure your collection and to turn all power points off when not using machines.

One switch in my house turns all my pin power off, another switch turns all my other power off in the shed. Both on seperate circuits.

Most houses built in the past 15 years have a safety switch, I think it is mandatory for new houses. Switching off games at the power point is a great idea - I always do that on pins I have not fully tested.

I think any new circuit added to an domestic installation has to run through a RCD, I believe it's a condition of the certificate of electrical safety? (The purple form the sparky gives you)

When I got a split system installed - it had to go on a new RCD as I ran out of amperage on the other 2...

A kiwi sparky mate of mine was surprised they are 30ma trip over here - he something about them being 10ma in Un Zud?


My RTC don't work - so no attract mode and no GI power save! The GI connector has already been cooked and upgraded to arc-welding cable by the previous owner/operator. So it never gets left on! 


That playfield will come up mint - Nino always says the dirt protects the finish....
