Rolls Royce Pinball Lifting Trolley

Since October last  year I have been working in with a lifting company in China (one of the biggest) in making a dedicated Pinball lifting Trolley , I have been going backwards and more the 200 times to try and design something that is
a) Unique
b) Particle
c) No strain on your back
d) Affordable
Well I think finally we both have come up with A, B and C but D has gone through the window , anyway since I have minor back problems I'll get 1 made and to try out. 
This is what I have come up with
Min table height 485mm
Max table height 1400mm ( great for loading on to trucks etc etc ) 
Max lifting weight 150kg
Table is mechanical maneuverable from a horizontal position to a vertical possession, eg  in the horizontal position you can raise a pinball up to 1400mm or
Raise it, remove the legs, fold the head (secure the pinball to the table) and  maneuver the table  to a vertical position for packaging .
Once package it can be lifted vertically then maneuvered to a horizontal position ready for shipping .
Or reverse it , you have opened a NIB in an upright position  ,with the table in a vertical position and can lift it change the table to horizontal install the legs and place it where you want it .
It will come complete with inbuilt  tool box that contains every thing you need .
There is one the US that is similar but you have to hang on to it ,when you maneuver it to the vertical position , other wise you go ass over with the pinball .
With this there is ZERO stress or strain to the operator .
Any thoughts and comments would be very welcome .

Yep wheels need to lock and all wheels must swivel, also needs to store neatly under a pin when not being used so needs to be shorter in length then a pinball machine.

Sounds good, I'm currently on the lookout for a good trolley.

Thanks guys , defiantly has 2 swivel wheels a 2 locking wheels .
Length is basically the length of a pinball .
Table can be adjusted from 180 degrees to 90 degrees , and stop at any increments in betweens .

If you can make it light as possible and easy to dissemble in case i have to put in my car without popping a po-po value would be interested in getting one for the right price.

Got a bit excited and the bloke made mine super heavy duty,works well but to heavy.Was going to change to top bit to aluminium to make it a lot lighter.

+1 does make it easy when you have very little room to move with.

I had one (trolley) professionally made, and a mate bought one which is the ducks guts.
Mine is pretty light, but my mates is very very heavy.

The higher the pinball machine is lifted up on any trolley (and the lighter the trolley is), it makes it more unstable for a very heavy pinball.

** An example, is like having the worlds lightest forklift lifting heavy objects. If the forklift is too light, it falls over with a heavy load on it espescially as the heavy object is lifted higher.

Its a catch 22.

This trolley will not be light , I've been down that road many times with old mate in China .
He insist that the trolley must be very stable and safe at any height or angle or position .
So it has to be able lift 150kg in front of the trolley or on top of the trolley .
I have gone back to him with having the handle folding ,and to have rubber wheels , just waiting for his response .

This is my home built effort, a tad crude & heavy, but practical.

It embodies some design ideas you may like to consider.

(1) Base is wider than top platform, the angle of the uprights matches that of machines' legs. This gives optimum lateral stability which is a serious problem with "normal" designs.
(2) There is a "swing up" bolster at the back attached by hinges. This is to overcome the annoyance of the machines' front leaving the floor well before the rear, meaning more pumping the jackhandle and more longitudinal instability.
(3) Onboard stowage for jackhandle.
(4) Zebra safety markings on the front (to stop clods like me banging their knees)

I completely agree with all swivelling and decent sized rubber wheels after bitter experience with smaller nylon ones(now replaced)

I have that sample of that elevating/reclining platform trolley coming pretty soon , can't wait to see it ,lifting to 1.4m of height for loading pinballs on to trucks in both 90 or 180 degree angle, has a gear drive to incline the table ,
So plan is to lift up the pinball, remove the legs , strap the head box down , strap the pinball on to the trolley ,raise the table 90 degress , lower platform so that pinball is sitting on it's end on the floor or a pallet .

Reverse it , lift the pinball from sitting on its end  to a 180 degress , install legs and lower it .


Production of the 3 wheel dolly's and the 2 wheel movers will be finished in about a week( so I am told ) ,Then  about 3 weeks on the water .
