Nice pick up for a GREAT old game.
Gorgar is a game I honestly regret having sold.
Might just have to buy me another one afte seeing this !

Oh - and the one fingered hold of the rare brand spankin new BG whilst resting on the blanket upon the slippery floor while twisting ones body to get those shots with your other hand  - scared the shit out of me when I saw that - one false move and bye bye BG !! !!! !!!

My claim to fame to Gorgar was being the first person to play it when it came out of the box in Sydney at the distrubitors in Broadway Sydney. Can remember it like yesterday with the thumping heart which they turned on really loud.

For somebody that grew up playing EM's this was simply mind blowing!

They also gave me a few flyers for the game which came with a 7" single - man these were a different time!

Have owned a few Gorgar's over the years and every time I owned and played it was a massive blast from the past!

Not me holding the BG I had security-no need to worry everything was under control!! there was a bunch of stuntmen on standby just out of view ready to jump if the BG should slip and there was also a hidden cable attached from the BG to the ceiling supporting the BG for extra security and if that wasn't enough I ordered 3 Backglasses just incase one smashed. So I reckon I had all under control..

Yes, your back glass now makes your Gorgar look better than my Gorgar ^.^
But one question. does the new glass have the mirror effect on it like the original? ( the guy kneeling down shin pads )

It looks like it does... being a Williams repro, it definitely should have it.

I am currently restoring a Gorgar and this backglass is amazing. Not that I want to challenge you for the best Gorgar but do you know if there are any more available?

Thanks Gents,

Just FYI, I spoke to them and they say I can have one for $250 USD but they do not want to ship. They say it's a pain and expensive. I asked how expensive and they say $350 USD for freight to AUD.

I have no problem with the $250 even at 70c AUD/USD but this freight is ridiculous. Anyone have any ideas on cheaper ways to safely get the backglass here?

J.D. :D :D :D

Anyone seen the apron decals for Williams Gorgar or Flash? With such great looking machines, surely someone knows where I can get one from.

Wayne says he can make one from scratch if I send the apron down. Anyone have any other ideas?

Print them yourself? If you ask nicely (or not even that nicely), someone on here might be able to scan theirs and send you a file.
