Concert was awesome! Fantastic show, played alot of their old songs which was good. They sounded great at the tennis centre some cool pyrotechnics and lazers, great stage set up you can see everything wherever you are located.

I have tickets to the last show of their tour on the 21st Nov, but I had the opportunity to go to the first night too as one of my mates friends couldn't make it. Couldn't pass that up  &&

Bring on Nov 21st!!

Still pumped!!

Great to see "old school metal" bands sell out multiple shows in near record times. If only we could have the quality of 70's and 80's bands again ..
Nowadays its all about whats new, so last years band is old school to todays kids.

It is a big rectangular shaped stage with little wings (kinda like a fat 'H') that the guys could walkout onto, Lars had his drumkit on a rotating platform, which was moved at different times through the show, and the other guys walked around the stage freely, playing to all angles of the crowd. There was a 'mosh pit' area on the floor of the tennis court, the rest of the arena seating was used the lower section 'gold' tickets the upper 'silver'.  All the speakers hung from the an over head frame the 4 legs of which were very thin so basically no matter where you were you had a great view.

My ears are still ringing from last nights show.
First Metallica concert for the Prince and i must say, one of the best shows i've seen. The centre stage setup was amazing and that kick drum....hits yeah so hard!!

Spewing that they didn't play Suicide & Redemption - though going by their world wide tour, they've only played this once http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Magnetic_Tour

Trying to find last nights track listing on the net - one oldie song that i don't know, was my highlight.

I attended the 1st Metallica Brissy show last night with a few mates and had a blast!!

All songs sounded just the same as the albums but 100% better being live. A good mix of old and new songs, & I really enjoyed ONE

My ears were still ringing this morning, awesome night $150 well spent.
Pinballs in my collection Elvira, Stern Grand Prix, Bally Corvette, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Judge Dredd, Black Rose and Data East Guns n Roses.

Really glad to hear the 80's Metal bands still proving the Genre will never die. Fads come and go, but fans flock to these shows and the reviews are always great.
