Hi Damien
Sounds like a stepper issue.  Take a look inside the macine either in the headbox or inside the cabinet and manuall try advancing each stepper units im not sure what it would be called maybe ball count???

There is a thread in to 1on 1 section about rebuilding steppers if that does turn out to be your problem ^^^

SORRY GUYS.     @.@    But im glad you got it sorted Damien.  90% of ems problems come from either the stepper unit or the score reels once you have rebuilt all of these you will have years of trouble free play  ^^^

Sounds like when you reassembled, the wiper blades did not line up. You most likely will see a "flash" of the "Ball in play" as you move from one ball to another. You can reset the stepper to Ball 1. Now look to see if the wiper blade is making contact with the corresponding wiper button.

"Ball in play" lights would be related to the ball count unit.

GI or control lights can be a number of things - as you have found. I would have thought it would be the jones plugs.

That's two repairs you have completed, Damien !
