Pinball Abreviations !! !!

Im starting this a im struggling to understand all the lingo.
So please feel free to add as im sure others at times are the same.
EG !! !! !!
- EOS = End Of Stroke
Or Pinball Names Like !!
- T2 = Terminator 2
All are welcome as this is to help newbee's just like me !!:(

WTF - commonly used by ALL pinball enthusiasts when something isnt working properly on any pinball machine.

my abbreviation will be LWJP. Lost World Jurassic Park - SEGA 1997 as opposed to JP Jurassic Park - Data East - 1993 Data East

SS = Solid state (Digital displays with numbers only)
DMD = Dot Matrix Display (Newer type screen that can do videos)

I reckon whenever we talk about pins, and use abbreviations, we shld put the full name next to it to make it easier for everyone.

Although maybe MoA would be a better abbreviation for Mousin' Around!

To be totally honest, i HATE it when people use abbrevations for game names! 9 times outta 10 i have no idea what game they are referring to.

heres an example... SS.. could be Super Sonic, Scared Stiff, or even Secret Service for f@#ks sake!

Typically the abbreviation will refer to the more popular machine; it is up to the person using the abbreviation to let you know if it isn't.

Abbreviation is fine if the meaning is clear in the context. Some abbreviations obviously refer to one machine.
