Ok, just started her up again

1. doesnt reset
2. hit a bumper (worth 100) coil stuck
3. new game hit spinner, coil stuck
4, new game hit rollover worth 100 points, coil stuck.

It also seems on this game that i cant sneak up on the 100 points... now that i look at it i dont see why i even need a 10 point reel? everything score 100points (or multiples of 100  !@#

Just to recap ... does the 100's reel move easily if you manual activate the plunger ?
Have you overhauled that score reel mech ?

Cheers
Dave

dont think its the score reel because;

1. score reel moves freely if i do it manually
2. this is a replacement score reel that Daniel was kind enough to send me! The problem was there with the original score reel as well as with this new one  ^&^

OK .. had forgotten about that .. I did start to re read the whole thread but took the lazy way out .

You sure there isn't a closed 100pt switch on the playfield ? I've been caught out with that problem before .. though if that were the case, when you 1st start a game the 100's reel would advance one position and the coil would stay locked on

Will pop the hood in the morning to check all the switches anyway  !@#

I dont think its s tuck switch as the problem doesnt occur until he hits something himself.     With the machine started what happents when you activate the M relay by hand?  Does it still get stuck on? Does the score move? etc

ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Well then, i did as you suggested Daniel, i manually activated the relay by pushing the arm and guess what!!!! It scored 1000 points!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF....

So i thought i was going mad and did it again.... 1000 points and not getting stuck... so then i hit a rollover and it moved the 1000 score reel AND the 100 point, sound like one of the score reels tried to reset itself and then the coil got stuck!!!!

WTF!!!!! grinding axe now  :lol

Right not sure but do the same switches on the playfield change there score value?  So 100 points when lit etc? The relay that activates this may need adjusting ???

some of the rebound rubbers under the plastics should score 10 points, non coil operated ones.

Was the 100 pints relay on 9 by any chance????  If it wasnt then one of the switches isnt aligned properly so the reel thinks its on 9
