Ordering parts for the first time
« on: December 29, 2008, 11:22:03 AM »
Yep its time i put my first order into PBR although i would prefer to order from someone a little closer...

How did you guys put your first order through to PBR. It seems like a bit of a chore as they dont do credit card /on line ordering. Did you guys send cash/money order cheque? And what about subsequesnt orders. I believe he sends and invoice once he creates an account but how do you pay it.

Regards
Rob (or Noob with too many questions)

Hi Guys!

Just wondering how long it takes for a money order to hit PBR. Also do they tell you they've got the money order or do they just ship it. I put my money order in the post box on the 7th of Jan. Am i being too impatient?  !@#

Cheers

er should be getting your order through maybe next week??
 PBR are pretty good.

delay will be getting the money order cashed.

In your delivery will be a card with your number on it - this will save you time next order as you quote this number and its shipped straight away -  before youve even sent the money - how good is that?

Hi Rob,
I normally order from http://www.marcospecialties.com or http://www.pinballlife.com. You can see the items listed on their website and can use paypal for payment. Normally takes about 1 week to deliver.

Allow 2 weeks from the time the order is "confirmed". As Gavin stated, the hold up will be the step of Steve cashing the MO.

I've been ordering from PBR for a while now, and you will get your belated Christmas present.

:lol i know im being impatient but i've heard nothing from PBR. Not blaming them just dont know the process. Besides, Pro Football has been idle for too long. I need to get that working before the wife lets me pull Gulfstream apart. She is enjoying it (and playing it more than me) and so are the kids

This is because you dont have enough pins - once you get about 10 in the collection, the rush to get the next one working calms down a bit - only a bit mind

There's justification for the purchase of a working pinball machine to distract the family while you get the other going.

So far i've only had to order from PBR once ,and it took around 6 weeks to arrive.
I wasn't worried ,wasn't in any hurry ,and postage was really cheap.
I paid them through auction checks or chex or something

Don't worry ,it'll arrive before you know it.
