Any System 11 love out there?
« on: July 14, 2010, 02:53:12 PM »
I have finally got my Earthshaker home and working
I like this game, a full playfield with lots of different shots, , not too many time does the ball stop flowing

My only negative is the sound.
Alone, it sounds OK, but to me it sounds too much like Funhouse and White water
I was just wondering if this is common for Sys 11’s to share the same sounds as early WPC titles, or have I gotten lucky with this game?

As I seem to prefer these earlier titles, does any one have any suggestions for other Sys 11 (hopefully ones that sound unique)?

Pete

Police Force always seems to be popular with guests.  Sounds are good.
Addicted to pins.

I will share some sys 11 love.

I bought an F-14 tomcat as my second pin and whilst on the first few games it seems like a bit of a repetitive game, when you get into the rule-set - particuarly the multi-ball, it really comes into its own

Great sound, speech, and lights, particularly when you get the spinnning beacons going

Yeah, but pricey

Funnily, when I got Ironman, its fast pace bought back memeories of playing F-14 all those years ago

Taxi, Comet and Space Station are others that come to mind

Comet, High Speed ( I will get that one day), and F-14 would have been the last games I played 'In the wild' (arcades) in my younger years

I know Black Knight 2000 is. Its a bloddy cracker of a game that one !  ^^^

Yes Bugs is System 11c.
I love the games of this era, they are what I played most as a kid. Favourite sys11 has got to be Whirlwind. Hard to find in good nick, however there are a couple of working projects on egay now.

Plenty of love - Pinbot is an absolute classic and I love two underrated games  - Fire! and Big Guns.

SoF and Whirlwind are favorites as well.

Mousin' Around! is a good one if you can get your hands on it at the right price. Lot's of fun.

Whirlwind is a very good title.

Diner interests me greatly.
