What a tool
« on: August 11, 2010, 01:47:47 PM »
Just recently I was shown this tool by a fellow enthusiast and was kindly given one as a gift from another member.

I had absolutely no idea what it was, what it did or where to put it! (until it was explained to me)

I'll see if anyone has seen one before or knows of its use?

Hint : They were supplied in some goody bags with machines back in the day.

is it used to hold the post nut when removing playfield plastics?
Or maybe to scoop out the ball somehow?

No.  Its sort of a thin plastic.

Nice try though!

this is a wild guess but is it to fit around a globe to remove it, either #47 or #555 so you don't have to grip the bulb and potentially cut yourself?

This might sound silly, but i will have a newb guess, is it for use when installing flipper bats as a desired spacing so they dont rub on the playfield?
