Who has opened a NIB game in the last few years?
« on: January 04, 2009, 12:35:06 AM »
I know Spamways will have helped open like 40,000,000 games back in the day with his dad, but who has opened a NIB game, say, since 1990 (the dawn of WPC to pick something)?

Please post what the game w3as, when it was, and what were your impressions.

To start the ball rolling, here's my only NIB experience (Angie was not NIB, in fact her B was far from new, but WTF  :lol )

The first four feature -

Mark caught having taken both Greg's game AND mine, luckily I intercepted before he could take off, he'd even tried to claim it by writing his details on it - Evil Mark!
The third is nuggy in the foreground, with Greg doing something to my ute (not sure what)
Then there's yours truly just arrived home...

Then -

What happens when you open the NIB box? You get another box of course!
Then yours truly either opening ip the leg wrapping, or I might have been catching up with the news, can't recall...

Here we have Angie taking off - she hates to be photographed (you'd never guess)
Then some minor adjustment

Finally - pressing the start button for the first time!

Hey, as I said, after hooking up with Angie it was the only NIB experience available - so no way was I going to pay someone to do it for me... that would be like... prostitution!!!

Seeing as this is about opening NIB pinballs... my list (not in any particular order):

Elvis
World Poker Tour
Family Guy
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Simpsons Pinball Party
Terminator 3
The Lord of the Rings
The Sopranos
Grand Prix
South Park

Most of the above were only 1 or 2 of each, but the South Park was 20! Looked great having all 20 lined up, and me having the high score on each one :lol

LOL... Unfortunately none of them were mine! This was back in the days of being a technician for some of the major pinball companies in Melbourne.
