Quick update on this restore - im now at the point of replacing the black lines plus touching up some of the fine lettering thats on this PF.
Ive been using the calligraphy pens for the lines and its working well although they do take a bit of time to dry and as such you cant go back to where youve just worked for some time. Ive been waving a heat gun over the new work to speed it up a bit, this seems to work OK plus a pair of cotton gloves withn the fingers cut out ( except little finger) so if I do plonk my hand in fresh line work i dont make prints all over the PF as im working.
You may remember from my previous posts on this that i wasnt happy with the "O" in POINTS as i had a momentary hand jerk that threw the letter off centre ( these were all done with a fine brush and enamel). This has been rectified and so its the first picture...you can also see that the line work is coming out well

Im really pleased with the way this has all come together - the very centre of the PF just looks outstanding
And of course the all important Gottlieb badge - completely repainted...shines nice and bright compared to the grubby one that was there before
Just a few more bits to go and its time for the CC to be applied which will be the next post... cant believe im nearly at the end of this restore - ive been working on this for months now.
Next is the cabinet respray, plus im making all new plastics for this game and may even repro the BG as the red is a little faded.
Once this game is finished she'll look like she just came from the Gottlieb factory and will be IMMACULATE!!!!
