IVE JUST JOINED THE PINBALL 2000 CLUB
« on: September 11, 2010, 11:45:26 PM »
Well i ve spent the last two days helping out Mark C set up pins etc i had my heart set on a T2 but after looking over one and having a play it really wasnt as exciting as i remembered it still a cool looking game but after seeing a Revenge from Mars set up i thought i might add something different after a whole day of scratching my head i went with the Revenge From Mars...

Was literally a lucky dip grabbed a skrink wrapped body and a shrink wrapped head and loaded it into the ute  (we did sneek a little peak)    Got it home and started setting it up was missing a few bits flipper mechs were ratted out and missing some rubber knob that sits between the headbox and the side rail which ill sort out over the week but apart from that a very Dusty but neat game.     Never touched a 2000 before but like i do ripped straight into it Lifted the dust cover on the driver board to find out it was a complete failure LOL  dust everywhere so i blew and brushed as much dust out before plugging it in.

Was very happy when there was no smoke but sadly no action ohh well.

Each head had a sticky paper with either letters or numbers on it i which obviously matched a body didnt think much of it till i found the key inside the cabinet for the head box which didnt fit my locks.  So being impatient out came the drill (Ill post the keys back to you mark for teh correct head)

once the backglass was out i noticed a big red button again i couldnt help myself but to press it BINGO the computer fired up and the game went through its process and booted.   SLight dcreen adjustement and it was readable YEAH

Ill post some pictures tomorro once i have3 given it a rough clean

Great score - an RFM is definitely on my wish list; it really appeals to me. I have played SWEP1 and find it a bit ho-hum in comparison. I think it comes down to the theme.

Looks great daniel, either you spent a long time cleaning and polishing or it looks very minty from unwrapping,so whats it like to play a game where you havent done a rebuild from the playfield up  %.% would be a pretty rare occurance for you mate  ^^^ anyway nice score ^^^
