plunger wear
« on: September 13, 2010, 07:18:09 PM »
I guess I haven't seen as much as many on this forum, but thought I would share a couple of pics of the wear on the flipper plunger from my Gorgar machine.
It certainly suprised me, some people won't maintain anything....
Lets go Brandon!

Wow! I have never seen that much wear before! Must be the original shaft from 1980.

Plus 1.  Even the plunger  from my 1955 pinball were way better than that.

Goes to show just how popular Gorgar was back in the day and still is!

Once you rebuild them it will make a huge difference!

I once had a plunger / link assembly carved (whittled) out of wood!.  They did a great job, but I had to replace it.

Well at least now I know why I had trouble hitting the ball more than half way up the playfield!
I didn't know how common that sort of wear is.
