Price check, EBD
« on: October 05, 2010, 02:43:33 AM »
I have just been offered an ‘Eight ball Deluxe’ (Bally)

It has not been restored, but has been described as the playfield is OK, backglass good, cabinet is a bit scratched
(I will know more when I go and check it out)
But it is not working

Given all that, what would be a fair price?

Pete

I guess around $1500 - $2000 depending on how not working it is, and actual condition.

Cab can be repainted. Backglass and the playfield would be the determining factor. Backglasses are always great on this title, but the playfields are usually showing signs of wear. Playfield repros are hard to find. Plastics are available.

I agree with Andrew $1500 - $2000.

I agree with Andrew $1500 - $2000.

Already have the CPR repro playfield  ^^^

I will have a look-see at the weekend, I suppose it is down to how 'not working' it is

Best to target a "non working" machine or a machine with a poor playfield (as I did). If it is "not working" then $1500 would be a good price.

If it has all boards then it is fixable.
