Coils, Bare Playfields, Backglasses For Sale
« on: October 06, 2010, 12:56:39 PM »
Guys,

I just took delivery of a heap of 2nd hand coils.  The coils are mainly from late 70's and early 80's machines.

Stern, Gottlieb, Williams, Hankin and Bally.

Priced at $5ea or
5 for $20 or
10 for $30
plus postage.

If there is a coil in particular you are chasing or would like some spares of just ask, there is every chance I have it in this lot.

There will also be some old backglasses (most framed) from the 60's.

Bare playfields (I am going through them at the moment).  Some are worthy of going back into a machine, others would need some resto work or be good wall hangings.  Titles include Icarus, Pinball Pool, Totem, Spirit of 76, Lady Luck, Cosmic Princess, Solar Ride, Poker Plus, 8 Ball, 6M$M, North Star and more.  Possibly a fully populated Hankin Shark playfield (I haven't unwrapped it yet to see what it is like and whether it may stay on my wall).

There is also a limited number of stand up targets.

Some pics.....

An idea of the coils.

Pics of some of the playfields will be available on the photobucket link shortly.

I was like a kid on Christmas Day yesterday going through the stuff.  A good stash of original manuals (Bally, Gtb Sys 1, Stern, Wms and Recel) as well, parts catologues, service bulletins and the like from the late 70's and early 80's.  There are some duplicates here and there, once I go through them I will probably list the duplicate stuff and unwanted for sale as well.  Better being put to use as opposed to sitting in my shed never to be seen again.

There are a couple of game over relays and that sort of thing as well from some EMs.  No chime units unfortunately.

Old operator on the Gold Coast has had it sitting in his shed for years.  He has long retired and downsizing house and simply wanted everything pinball goooooone.  It all started when I bought a Superman backglass off him on eBay, we had a chat and the rest is history as they say.  Got is shipped down from the Gold Coast to Shellharbour (Wollongong), I left home at 4.20am yesterday to go and pick it up, got home about 3.30pm.

Fantastic to think a lot of this stuff will be put to good use again .

Interested in pics of the Lady Luck playfield when you get around to it .. assuming it is the '68 Williams version?

Sorry.......

The Lady Luck isn't the Wms version, it might be a Recel, I'll have to check.

It is a Recel - so is the "Space Race"

Glad that you bought rather than the haul finding its way into landfill  ^&^
