Like most things in life it's important to seek advice before diving in, and never having cleaned a pinnie yet wanted reassurance I suppose 
how often do you guys wax your playfields, and how often do you do the clean.

Usually the dirt on the rubbers is a good indication. I've heard collectors wax their playfields every 50 plays - but that's a bit too frequent for me. I tend to look at the slingshot and flipper rubbers. When they become very dirty, it is time to clean the playfield with shellite and a paper towel (to remove the old wax). and then clean with Novus 2 and then paste wax again. I'd say I do this once per year on my most played machines. Paragon needs to be done soon !
