Did anyone go to the auction - what were the prices like was it a "real" auction - did many things not sell etc ?

Yeh, where's the final results listing???

I remember for the 2008 Auction, ppl posted a list of all the games and final prices....

I think most of the active members here are a fair bit more knowledgeable than the average, awake to these sorts of auctions, so maybe no-one really bothered going or paying too much attention?

Pinball machines and "memorabilia" - you know, when you've been around the hobby long enough, they are kind of all the same. At least the dozen or so I've been to have blurred into one long same and same again.

I usually go to the auction just to have a "sticky beak" - but what turned me off these "auctions" is the amount of machines that were "sold" on the day, but yet suddenly re appeared on the floor the next week or eBay.

Even Newbies are aware of these so called auctions by several dealers.

I went and caught up with about 10 mates,left after an hour. Arcades were dirt cheap,most pins had reserves.
