That story was just the BEST story I've ever heard. Better than the other BEST story I was told, but even BESTER...

Funny you should ask... One of the bestest best Kiss machines ( not the first ever best, but best ever best) i thought played a little slow... PF was nice and shiny.... mmmm i thought... too much wax maybe??? So i emailed my favourite seller who explained everything... see below..

"Imagine its 2010 and youve just been lucky enough to purchase the best if not the bestest ever best KISS pinball machine... you unwrap the box and unroll your BRAND NEW BEST THERE IS overlay. Licking your lips you apply this to the NEWLY rubbed back playfield. Standing back you are amazed at its shiny spongy quality. You surely now know that not only have you just bought the ultimate SUPER BEST KISS but you also have the reassurance that you now have a BRAND NEW PLAYFIELD that has been made BETTER than original because it is PRINTED -NOT OLD TECHNOLOGY SCREENED using the best latest machinery known to man... only YOU the lucky purchaser of this NEVER TO BE REPEATED KISS MACHINE will have the great privilage of playing on its new shiny modern playfield... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!"

...Well.... nuff said..... Its not slower... its MODERN!

Gav, you're cracking me up %.%!  You REALLY should contact the buyer, have him commission you to do the next Ebay write-up .... either for this BESTESTBESTESS KISS, or the next BEST BESTER BESTEST BETTER-THAN-BEFORE KISS.

I just came across this thread and I'm so glad I did...what a laugh.
A good mate and I have been following this guys ebay sales for a while and we really bag the crap out of him and although it gives us a great laugh as it does everyone on this thread he really does annoy the sh#t out of me.
Many times i have been tempted to have a go at him or question his description on ebay but being a pinball amateur I'm probably just gonna make an arse of myself but now armed with all this new factual info I think I'll put something together and have a crack when he lists his next greatest Kiss ever.
He did have a nice looking "best ever" Elton John" themed  (i forget the name) electro mechanical machine listed a while back and I think it's the same one bumper action now have.

Yep - We have all had a good laugh - quite entertaining at times. I guess the bottom line is always that a fully restored pinball (properly restored) does not need waffle to sell it - just let the pictures do the talking !
