Bally Elektra

This looks to be sneaking under the radar ;

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Elektra-pinball-machine-bally-made-1981-/280617793248?pt=AU_CoinOp&hash=item41561fb6e0

A game that I would be interested in if it were in Vic - Someone might snag a bargain !

A few more photos of the playfield would be nice though

Sounds a little bit dodgy to me ...

original description "cabinet has normal wear and tear for its age" was amended to
"the right hand side of the paintwork as you stand at the machine needs to be repainted as it appears to have been damaged in transport"

original description "playfield in good condition for its age{mylared before i got it]"  became
"upon further inspection the playfield does have a little damage around the "10elektra points" light on the playfield that has fair repair job done before i got the machine it has no effect on game play at all. i thoroughly checked this out my self before i paid on pick up"  "

If that's a fair repair I'b, I'd hate to see a rough job -look at the pics

The pics seem to show a circuit board hanging in free air

and the location of Sydney has shifted to "45km SE of golbourn" (sic), which I assume is Goulburn

If it goes cheap it might be a bargain but there are a few issues to me?

All auctions have a fair bit of "dodgyness" - I'm sure the machine will have issues. I especially like the part about the "burnt out car on NYE"  !@#

I cannot find a board floating in thin air ?

I agree that "all" auctions can be dodgy.  I guess I was concerned that someone was correcting their first description, after all they had all the time in the world to write the first one so I just wonder what else is omitted.  Also the miss-description of the suburb is cause for alarm to me.  I think ebay should make you put the pick up postcode to avoid this.

It ended up going for $776 so could well turn out to be a good buy, for me I'd like to see it first for that price.  anybody here get it?

Picture below shows what i think is a board floating in free air.

That is the in line drop target assembly that you have pointed out.
