Could be the input voltage supplied to the gamesroom. Switch off all other machines and play the machine(s) that are "slow".

Machine will slow down due to wear and dirt, but it should not be that noticable over time.

Are we talking about one machine, because I have the impression that you mean "all" or "any" machines ?

no i'm only talking about 1, I had a waterworld (gottleb) and it had 6 second delays where it was supposed to be instant, The one i'm currently talking about is Dracula (Williams) and has about a 5 second longer delay than last year on the out hole and out lanes.

I'm a little confused here..

So when the ball lands in the outhole, there is a 5sec delay before the game registers the switch activation?

In test mode when you activate by hand does it do the same thing?

Ok.

So ball into trough in game play - 5 sec delay until switch registers.

Test mode - by hand, switch registers immediately?

Righto - well that would point to the switches requiring adjusting.

ok,
just put ball in outlane in test mode and registers right away!
The switch is fine but there is still a delay in gameplay

I just had a closer look,
3 second delay on out hole, 3 second delay after all before registring sounds and displays, normally I would think the out hole is instant and then maybe 2 seconds making it 3 second delay all up but it's double that.

Damien,

Just for sh*ts n giggles, can you take the batteries out for a full factory restore (sorry if Mitch has any high scores)...

I'd be interested to see if this makes any difference..

I have no idea..   !@#  I don't even know why I suggested to do a factory reset but if it worked then great!

BUT - there must be a problem somewhere.

From memory you've got a ROM burner yeah?  I'm guessing you always put the updated ROM codes on your machines?  Was it a .h version (home) by any chance?
