Pokie machine question
« on: May 29, 2011, 11:57:53 AM »
My old 59 pokie's reels are out of synch... theres only one jackpot on this machine...3 aces.

My theory is the move the locking arms to jackpot position and then align the reels to the aces...

problem is... what position do the locking arms need to be for jackpot? is it when all of them are as far over as they can go?

Hey Gav
What brand are we talking?   Your plan sounds right most machines there will be a rid that will slide through all three position plates allowing Max payout

on my aristocrat... if they work the same, i put the ace on the first wheel on the winning line.. if your machine doesn't have a manual override lever use a long wooden spoon handle or something to stop the spinning clockwork fan thing at the back. The first wheel and the end cog are joined so you cant adjust this wheel so has to be right.

move all wheels to the ace on payout line.

next loosen the wheels slightly with the screws inside the wheel and keeping the ace on payout move the cogs so the pin can go through the hole completely.... if was working before wont need much... might be only one cog out so no need to touch other wheel if still aligned. TIP... make sure all the cog pointy things are lined up straight so on the next spin the wheel wont move when re setting.... do up screws on wheel and test... should be done..... aristocrat anyway.... my nutt hasn't needed adjusting.... yet  <.>

I had a girlfriend that worked for them back in the day.
