I'm pretty happy have done a deal with Pete for his complete backbox and backglass.  It's a machine I missed out on when was about 15 and has been on my wanted list ewe since.

If my idea is going to work I'm sure you will be one to appreciate it nick. ^^^.

Congrats Daniel, I think,,,,

We still have the one and only Hankin Amusements here in Newcastle (Wickham). He still has an old Timezone shutdown for years with old pines laying in there. He may have a stash of pinnie parts  laying around ????

What's the plan if it works....

I think it should be fine, about the same size as BH from memory.

Well Sedgwick is home and I must say the photos did no do it justice but there really is nonway to capture this many faults in one photo  %.%.  This thing is pretty f**ked won't need paint stripper I'm sure i can just blow off the top layer of ply with a drinking straw  @.@

Thankfully I'm getting the gearbox off Pete will give me something to build from

Did I mention I had to cut the leg bolts off with a hacksaw to remove one leg

It's going to be a huge job but I know have all the main parts I need to build another grail machine.

So Pete really looking forward to the headbox so I have something to work with lol

Well after I got home from picking up the paragon cabinet (which I'm not even going to unwrap). I decided it put sedgwicks head back on and see if there were any signs of life.

And to my surprise it booted straight up all displays coils and most lights work only fault is no sound.

Considering the whole machine looks like it lived outside all it's life the boards are very clean and fully working.

I'll start a restore thread once do some more work on it.

I think I'm going to have to shoot Sedgwick who votes i shoot it???
