Aussiepinball Its JUDGMENT DAY!
« on: July 04, 2011, 12:00:55 PM »
No No Guys dont be concerned its not the end of the world,

Just picked myself up a Williams Terminator 2  *.*

This is machine number 3 for me I think I have the disease ......Was only ever going to be 1..

Pros

All functional with all Solenoids , lights , switches working

Playfield is virtually unmarked with no wear Just really dirty should clean up well

Boards and connectors seem good no hacks or mods I can see

Plastics all good apart from HK Ship

Sound seems solid fairly clear

Aussie $1 coin mech fitted was run here for awhile..German machine

Reasonably cheap I think....

Cons

Translight semi seethru in places about half.. (anyone got a fix?)

Cabinet is fairly beat up lots of nicks scratches , some extra holes ^.^, bottom had fallen out and been repaired) usual fading on one side mostly

Hk ship broken as mentioned

Needs some rerubbering no biggie...

Heres some as is pics...

Congrats on the T2, great pin.

Illinois Pinball has the translites http://www.illinoispinball.com/oscommerce/index.php?cPath=50

Greg at RTBB has the Hunter Ship. Has a good deal with both the Hunter Ship and Skull. Purchased this set and excellent quality

Hey Guys thanks for the comments and links,

That RTBB deal with the Skull and Ship a bargain Im right onto that!

didnt really need a skull but everywhere else the HK ships $50 alone...

Hey Daniel Yeah that was January And still much apprciated Mate....imagine how many I could have by Christmas!

Threes prob just about my limit on space and probably a happy marriage,

Id love to pick up one of MarkCs project Pins on Ebay but dont really have the space ..

Fun machine to play seems Reasonably hard to get a big score on,a bit more technical than the Getaway...

Hey Tim,

Ive revisited your T2 Resto post again Fantastic Job!

This one also has had the bottom fall out / pushed out at one stage,

Got some dodgy metal brackets and screws etc holding it up

did you fabricate a new floor on yours or just repair the existing one?

I think thier tounge and grooved in?

Nice Game, Peter  ^^^

Usually the insert decals are worn and there's almost always playfield wear around the flippers. Nice cabinet as well !

Greg from RTBB will help you out getting back into it's former condition !

Thanks Pete,

Yes, the floor has a rebate which causes all sorts of problems when the cabinet is poorly handled etc.

From memory, I cleaned up what i could of the plywood - ran i nice neat bead, and squared the cabinet up. I also made new corner chocks which press inside the cabinet and hold the floor tight with the ply sides.

I do things a little differently now, but it was visually correct and proved a solid repair.

If you need any reference photos - just send me a PM and ill see what i can dig up...

Tim
