Wide body heaven
« on: July 06, 2011, 11:07:00 PM »
Well tomorrow I go pick up Empire strikes and Friday I'll be collecting my freshly painted Paragon cabinet so I will have 5 wide body cabinets all squeezed into my small shed.

It's strange I'm excited about Empire strikes back....

I don't have the room
I don't have the time
It's a crap player
And it's in really shitty condition

Yet im happy as a pig in shit to finally get another game that i was denied as a kid...  Up yours mum  ()

5 widebodies - wow!  That does take up some real estate.  I have one (Hotdoggin), but 5 would be killer.  Well done Daniel on the Paragon.  ^^^

Now Jady, assuming this is the one you purchased off Ebay and on-sold (which I think is the case), .... how could you let this go? !)#  Nino, what's the sentence for selling a Paragon?  30 days without pins?

He didnt really sell it i think my PMs might have persuaded him.   And im very glad he did i think that its a great way for me to restore paragon to the way it should be as i remove the parts i can clean and polish the crap out of hem before fitting them to the freshly painted cabinet  ^^^..

And the shed is fully loaded at the moment i have the 9 pinballs in my line up a taito upright the bally pokie infront of the couch between the lineup and the pool table i have trizone and stellar wars just enough room to squeeze by there are 2 terminators a tales from the cryt the laser wars and a star god...  Some how im suposed to squeeze in a whirlitzer jukebox next week plus the two wide bodies that will be here soon..

Steve - almost a criminal offense for selling a Paragon  :D, but in this case, it is just the cabinet. Will be interesting to see what Daniel does with the original cabinet. I REALLY hoping it does not end up on the roof ! I'm sure it could be repainted and moved on ? Now that would be an idea !

That would be a tight squeeze, Daniel ! I don't have 5 widebodies in the gamesroom yet, but I will have the Paragon, Flight2000, Haunted House, Spirit and Freefall all in one room. All of them are fun players. I DO need a bigger gamesroom. Would be nice to have a basement like collectors in the USA seem to have  ^^^

Great to see you are collecting the games that were part of your youth !

I didn't really sell it, just helped an AP member as I put the call out the day of the auction to AP and it was to good to pass, stencils and paint alone would be more than the Paragon body sale price. I am just glad I could help out Daniel as he helps out so many people here.
