Apparently you can substitute a nail in place of these sort of fuses.

Looks like the old cigarette packet foil trick where you wrap the foil around the fuse.

Its a handy trick until you smell the plastic burning on the wiring

another good one i have seen is a few strands of wire wrapped around the fuse holder, or even strands of wire soldered to the old blown fuse

My Gulfstream came with  the 'wire wrapped around the fuse holder ' trick

Nails in fuseholders are classed as slow blow,so foil should be fast blow
