Golden Cue pinball
« on: July 22, 2011, 09:05:39 AM »
Haven't seen one of for sale for a long time. Was lucky when i first started collecting pinball Russell from Filltex had one on his floor and was allowed to play a couple of games. Was for sale at $10,000. but was out of my price range.Ended up taking home a Pharaoh pinball instead for $500.Still have it today.

Anyone no of another one being in Australia, as i no his was sold to someone in the USA a long time ago.

Give Joe a call at Kids Just Want to Have Fun.
I don't think he's got one but he'll know someone that does.

A rare machine, only about 10 or 12 made.
Sharkeys Shootout is the same playfield not sure about the the rules.
But you cant bet the original, Eight Ball Deluxe.

One of the 10/12? was destroyed beyond repair when it quite literally fell off the back of the truck as it was on its way to a pinball show in Las Vegas back in the very late '90s, so scratch one from the final tally.

Spoke to Gibbo/Joe and it the same one that Russell had.Was just curious if there is any more in Australia.

Why did they change it and only make 10-12,was it a flop.
