Pinhead software for Game Room Management

Hi everybody,

I want to introduce a new program I developed for the pinball and arcade enthousiast. It's called Pinhead and it's freeware! 

Pinhead was designed to help arcade & pinball enthousiasts, collectors and operators to manage their machines or the machines they operate or maintain. Keep track of machine details, repairs, parts, orders, high scores, contact information and things to remember for the future.

And, most important: Pinhead is freeware and runs on Mac & Windows!

It's something I created after some people asked for it. I hope some of you can put it to good use

I'll give it a crack.  Could it be made into an app for smart phones so data could be entered on site perhaps and save writing it all down and then entering later?

If you run into bugs, please say so. I finished the program just a couple of days ago and I'm still in the process of fixing small bugs here and there (still in Beta stage, but expecting to reach release stage very soon!)

Just copy all files over the old ones, no problem. The data is stored on a different place (in de Applicationdata folder assigned by your operating system) so all your data will stay intact.

If your after feedback ,one thing I noticed when using it is there is no filter for manufacturer, handy if you have a big collection

Just uploaded Beta40 and I think the program is reaching the point of release!

You can add manufacturer in the Notes field. Pinhead will filter on that if you use the Find Machine screen. Filtering in this field will take place on De******ion, Notes and Type (pinball, arcade, etc).

Try out the latest Beta, it has a lot of small improvements and a couple of bugfixes, especially for the Windows users.

This latest version has some small bugfixes, but also two new features per request:

1. User can now choose a database location if he/she wants to. This way you can store the Pinhead database on a network location or in a Dropbox folder so you can access it with multiple computers and/or have a backup of your database. Set this in the Configuration screen.

2. The Machine Type pull down ("Pinball", "Arcade", etc.) now can be user defined in the Configuration screen.
