Can anyone identify this Williams EM Font?
« on: August 18, 2011, 05:01:29 PM »
I need to print some new cards to glue to my score reels and I really would prefer to use a standard font if possible - otherwise I'll have to draw it up. Can anyone identify it please?

Mate.... sometimes for the letters its possible to use a standard font and stretch for a very close match.
This sort of font though wasnt a real font and was hand drawn, as such its not even and has faults. I had the same problem when i did the "PRODUCT OF"  for the GOTTLIEB neon signs... when i scanned it and blew it up.. it was all over the place with hand error.
Only way to get a TRUE replication of it is to draw it up im afraid... is a bit tedious though

Thanks Gav - I figured I would have to draw it BUT would you believe Peter (Dutch Peter) had EXACTLY the right strip already prepared on his site - Thanks to Peter:

I was just about to link it for you, Mike. Wotto drew the "zero" digit for me years ago "901", and no one had the artwork back then. Thankfully it will be easy (thanks to Peter).
