Nug, can you explain a bit how you're making these plastics and applying the artwork?

Nug - Nice work there -BIIIG Pictures as well  #*#

How are you cutting the plastics - They look like they are finely cut ?

How are you applying the artwork ?

On the plastic - use polished panhead screws - They will look better than the countersunk ones you are using (Just a tip mate)..

Great stuff there Nug!

I bet you can't wait to cross the finish line with this project, and just be able to play CI without worrying about what needs to be done next on it.

Honestly, when I first saw the sketches I didn't think I would like it.  I really like the way everything is turning out.  Great job.  I doubt anyone can appreciate the sheer amount of work going into that machine.  I look at the number of hours I've spent on Nucore alone and I don't believe it =)

I reckon we will not be able to properly appreciate this artwork until we see it complete, and all lite-up.

you have all been very kind   *%*

geoff the decals are very simple. invert image to be produced and apply..now the trick here is to place the decal down on the flat surface..and then position the rough cut plastic so as decal covers all..then you have perfect adhesion every time..lightly spray the decal with some plastic white undercoat for translucency and be sure to be at 90 degrees so sides get minimal spray..i especially love this bit..."they are finely cut" .... i used f**king scissors  <.>  - shite ones at that !

..then position your plastic perfectly for hole alignment...drill holes

thanks chuck, i thought that may have been the case generally when my brother remarked..."that looks shit" ! @.@

I actually got these printed two ways - I did a set on my ink jet, and then also had a set printed at the local Kwik Kopy via high quality laser (my mate owns the KK so no hassle doing the little "homers").

I can't recall which ones we decided looked better - nug??
