Flipper rebuild kits for Classic STERN now available

Hey Guys and Gals.

Just noticed on the Pinballife website they now have available flipper rebuild kits as well as coil stops and plungers for Classic Sterns ie: Meteor, Stingray, Flight2000.

This is brilliant!!! for those of us with a few classic Sterns.

Until now I think only Marcos had the coil stops but it still meant that you had to go to probably 3 different places to get all the gear for a rebuild. Not anymore!!

Yup - I bought some of the plungers and links before he bought the kits out.  Have been in my Nine Ball for over a months and working fine.

Yeah they are great to deal with.
I placed an order with them a few months ago and paid for it all and then lo and behold I get a refund of about $40 for the postage. Because their postage estimate on the website was over what it actually cost to send they refunded it back to me. How bloody good is that.

Good to know. Marco Spec were the only vendor that has the coil stop, and they have been "out of stock" for my last two orders. I notice Pinballlife uses the original plastic link and a strange looking pawl. As long as it gets the job done, I'm happy. Thanks for the heads up - I'll be ordering a few sets !

the pawl is the one they switched to some time in 1980 (Big Game?) and will work fine when retro-fitted.  Even later they sometimes used a plastic version, which I don't find works as well for some reason.  The only thing that does require modifications for older games is the flipper shaft bushes, which he sells but are for some reason not in the kit. These are the longer style and will need to be ''adjusted'' for games that use the older style baseplate (Galaxy and earlier).  Also bought some of his colour changing LED's and can recommend these for providing some bling in appropriate places!
