[Vic] Black Hole, or some other Gottlieb sys 80
« on: October 17, 2011, 08:07:17 PM »
I have found a machine, not a Sys 80, but something interesting
thankyou for all the advice
[/b]
I got Zac, Bally's, WPC's, EM's

What I need is maybe a Sys 80, Black Hole

What is a fair price, and more importanly, does any one want to part with one?

Don't see too many come up these days. Guessing unlikely see them often much under $2K, I can't recall the last time I saw one sell. Be good to find the "not working don't know why" version as the mods to make them solid are pretty easy.

And no, mine is a permanent fixture!!

I know of one (US) model coming into Vic sometime prob in the next 6 months. Bit of time to get them setup correctly but great games once going!!

If you haven't played one recently Pete, welcome down here if you feel like a short road trip to try one out.

It is not your Gottlieb sys 80 that I want Nick

(sorry using the name of the game in that sentence seems so wrong  !*! )

There were a few on eBay a while ago, but I've not seen one for sale for 6 months. I've been thinking about adding the US version to my collection before I became obsessed with Bally EMs.

Pete - just make sure you source a US version - speech, chaser lights, dual backglass etc.

Pete

There are a couple of Gottlieb Circus's landing soon from private importers in VIC. As long as your door openings are at least 2 mtrs wide it may just squeeze in. Is an interesting machine something to think about. You should be able to pick up at a reasonable cost..
