If I recall, Spacies did the artwork for the Coconut Island project. I've seen the game "in person", and the artwork is simply stunning.

That's right, and yes, amazing work by Spacies.

As much as Spacies has, as he puts it, "f***ed" up", to be honest, the level of venom demonstrated in this thread is way over the top in my opinion.

While there were apparently contradictions in emails, Spacies never avoided the forum despite the comments here, and did post and had clearly not done a runner or committed the crimes he was accused of or suggested to have committed.

I agree with Wotto, too many good people have been burned out of this hobby by customers (even though the demands might be reasonable, and the delays here were unreasonable).

I know him only from the emails we swapped during the Coconut Island project, and have never met the man so I am not "a friend supporting him". My view on the comments in this thread are made objectively. In future, I would suggest that members conduct themselves more civilly, particularly when labeling people in the way that took place here. I am disappointed, to say the least.

Coconut island was fun. I enjoyed that project and I guess an advance apology goes to nick and nug because I have to withdraw from being your artist for your future games.

I have no knowledge of any of the emails that were or were not sent, and have avoided this discussion due to a lot of emotive posts (not pointing the finger at anyone).

I 100% agree with Pinnies4me's comments, in that while there have been issues (that spacies has acknowledged), i think some of the comments were a bit harsh - that said, it was not my $$$ that was passed on.

I think spacies has conducted himself very commendably in his replies to this thread - they are apologetic, acknowledging mistakes were made, and he has not 'fired up' in response to criticisms towards him.

I think he deserves credit for that, along with the excellent work i have seen examples of.

as i am the instagator of this thread,i am in no way upset by the replies.this guy has stuffed alot of people around.i hope my product is in the mail.but i dought it is now over.i will anxiously await the weeks end.i have just sat back and waited until he has his shit together and have sent them.
i know what stress is on a person to deliver a product in a timely maner to the customer.i have worked in the aerospace industry where i am responsible for the wiring of a machine every month.it can be a nightmare.needless to say i am not in that industry anymore.all i can say now is just do the right thing SPACIES,and do not give up on your dream of providing good(excellent) product to the wider general public.you are an asset to the world of pinball/arcade.THANKS,damien

Yeah I could have fired up Rob but I am not like that. I like to avoid that as much as possible. Everyone has a switch and words isn't mine.

I have had emails from the USA guys and they are all good. All have said thanks for making the effort and they hope to have them soon, which they will. There are no UK guys. Nor are there 40 odd others.

However a couple of the Aussie guys have sent threats of physical violence to my personal email. If it makes them feel better to threaten to beat someone up then thats cool, keep sending them. I don't mind, but I may be biting my tongue just a little on that one.

What were we all to think. You wouldnt answer emails, you wouldnt answer refund requests, you logged onto the forum and didnt answer our posts. Surely mate, u can see, when it wasnt just one person, that it looked like u had meaningly taken our money and run. What elase were we to think.

Will u admit, that since you are a stranger to alot of us, that given the same situation, with you being the buyer, and say me being the seller, it looked real bad. Will you at least acknowledge that. ?

Guys I have received my set of decals last night, quality appears to be very good, colours are bright. Mareial is nice and heavy. Came with an extra set of head decals.

Minor shipping damage to top of side decals as compressed in the shipping tube crumpling the end. This should be no issue as decals are oversized and this is in the solid black that will be trimmed.

It has been a long wait but worth it guys. Hope you all feel the same way.
