Aussie Pinball Bumper Sticker anyone??
« on: October 28, 2011, 11:42:29 AM »
Since I have gotten so much from this site I have wanted to give back, trouble is I don't have a lot of knowledge to offer much of an opinion or advice.
Started thinking the other day that a bumper sticker might be a nice thing, it helps that I own a Roland sign printer.
Anyway, came up with a rough design, feel free to suggest any changes or disregard the whole idea altogether.
I though it might be a good way to go towards paying the hosting of this site if these were offered to members at a nominal fee. Or just distribute them free, I can print them out a few at a time when I am doing a print run and post them out to whoever.
Anyway, please let me know what you all think.

I think it is a great idea. You can also use the Banners with the Aussie Pinball name, or some resident artists can submit artwork as well.

I'd definitely buy a couple
I'd only put two on my car if one of them read "Jesus Is The Answer" and the other one said "Who Farted ?"

But seriously, nice slogan.
The only constructive criticism is that for a bumper sticker to be visible, the lettering is usually as boldface as you can get and that looks a little thin to be read from much of a distance.
Then again, my vision isn't all that great anymore so...
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here.

I agree with Vinito, that the lettering may need to tb fattened up a little, but top idea, I'd get one for sure.

Thanks guys.
I think the slogan is OK but the design needs tweaking, its a little too complex with a radial graduation, needs to be simple but still stand out.
I have been working on a few different versions but a graphic designer I ain't (not too good with grammar either).
Please feel free to submit your own design, we can always take a vote and go with what everyone likes.

That might be opening up a can or worms mate.  I reckon you do what you feel is best.  I'd be happy to buy one as well.  There's nothing stopping a 2nd or 3rd run with different artwork as guys come up with other stuff as well.....we can have a collection.

What a great gesture! Look forward to seeing the final version. Love the wording too.
“If you wanna escape, go up to a pinball machine. There’s a magic button on the front that takes you to a world under the glass and makes the the rest of the universe disappear.”

I'll grab a couple.
In fact I liked the suggestion of making a few different versions. They'd be goin' straight to the pool room, or should that be 'pinball room'? :lol

Firstly, VINITO made me laugh so hard i have sore sides from almost pissing myself from laughing so dam hard.
Legend ! Love your sense of humour Vinito, Excellent.  ^^^ ^^^
(and who said Americans didnt have a great sense of humour, Vinito shld be made a honourary Australian with that excellent effort etc)  *%* *%*

I like the slogan mentioned for a cheeky bumper sticker etc, but another one that women might find a bit more attractive /serious on a ladys car, might be something like the ones below  *)* *)*

For the second serious  design, how about "My husband likes it when I play with his balls" or "My husband has 4 balls, not two" or "I can see my reflection in my husbands Balls"
(ok, only joking) serious ones below >

"Great People, Great Fun, Great Hobby"
Aussie Pinball   www.aussiepinball.com.au
or

"Join the Pinball Army, travel to new places, meet new people, and play with their Balls" (ok, joking again. I have only one serious one thats above.  ^^^
