Is New Grail Pin Day!! Gottlieb King Pin
I started playing as a kid on EM's, so it's been nagging at me to get one. Been chasing King Pin ever since someone reneged on a deal a few years ago. My first EM (I won't say it will be the last), and a real grail game for me. Really hard to find, and I haven't seen one for sale in years. This was in a picture of another game that was for sale on Ebay, so contacted the seller of that other game and now its home.
Huge thanks for the King of EM Strangeways for coming over and taking a look with me, I was confident to buy and tackle the couple of minor faults with his encouragement. Game works fine, seems to have a intermittent fault with the score advance, but that will be fun finding.
Game was a US domestic delivery, and is clean all over.Cabinet is pretty good, well above the level that would make me consider stenciling (sorry Gav!), backglass is a 9+, and playfield is extremely good, with only minor wear. Especially at the top saucers where Nino tells me they are usually bare wood, this one has only minor wear. Plastics must be NOS as they have no yellowing at all, one is broken (clean snap so can repair invisibly) and a minor crack in another, otherwise the rest are perfect.
Can't wait to get my hands dirty - EM virgin no longer!!!!
