Ebay pins
« on: November 19, 2011, 01:26:53 PM »
This seller has close to $20 000 worth of pins for sale on ebay, yet supplies the worst quality photos you'll see. You'd think for those
sort of dollars he could buy a decent camera.

Wow, I think the worst/oldest mobile phone I have takes better shots - looks like the world through cataracts!! Over-priced Indy even if its neat.

Some warning if you purchase from him, nice guy but the pinball room is under the house and you have to go up the worst possible steps every (very tight, narrow with a 90 degree turn in it) to carry a pin up - though he is a builder and quite strong and no problems helping you. He has a line up of about 7-8 pins in this tight little room and seems to turn around his pins and he got a few through Markc and lists all his pins on Pinside's American website.

Do a deal that the pin is moved into the garage for you.

My WH20 wasn't too bad but once I got it home and was really able to check it out there was a little bit historical d???y coverups done by Europe or one of the above (doubt Paul though).

I wouldn't buy again unless the machine was sitting in the garage - near did a permanent injury as I fell and was pinned to the stairs with the machine on me.

Just edited post with.
Don't worry just looked it up....  for those too lazy like I was "a photograph taken by an early photographic process employing an iodine-sensitized silvered plate and mercury vapor". :)

It was just me being silly by implying that the seller used a very primitive method of photography with a low quality resultant image.  ^^^

Quality descriptions to go with the quality pics. I bet all the prospective buyers are all banging down the door in anticitpation.

"A picture says a thousand words".

I've never understood how eBay machines with sloppy pictures can sell on eBay. Then again, some auctions have written essays that read like they were written by 5 year olds !

State the facts, and take good quality pictures  ^^^

his photos are now upgraded but if any one is tempted do a deal where he brings the pins up for you.

Nice collection he has, but he's dreaming with his Getaway price.
