I dont really know what I'm talking about but I would guess it's much like a new car....once you drive it out of the lot it's no longer a new car and it instantly drops in value. The apeal here would be that it's new in a box once it's opended and set up and you play a game all you have is a Star Trek in imaculate condition...not worth as much as brand new in a box....what could you get for a imaculate Star Trek? Also I would worry that eveything would be working after 20 odd years in a box.

Correct!.. answer is to never open it... but then how do you know you got what you paid for??

Yep it would certainly appeal to someone who had more money than sesne and couldn't think of a more constructive way to spend it.
Inasne waste of $$$...20k for a pinball is mental no matter which way you look at it.....wake me when we get there... (((

I agree, once the box is open its only bragging rights thereafter...

anyways $20,000 would be better spent on a v8 muscle car/hot rod imo

Theres  a few around.. are cheap as chips in UK, obviously a touch more here as you have to import
