Greetings from Gallifrey
« on: December 09, 2011, 01:32:46 PM »
Hi all,
I've been interested in pinball for years and have an original Indiana Jones and of course Dr Who for quite a few years now. Just noticed your site and thought I'd pop by.

$.$ from another Perthite and welcome to our forum.
Glad to hear you and your mate woke up to those devious bastards at the auction.
This one was the phoniest yet - I won't bother attending any more.
Maybe next time I might just rock up on the viewing day, play a few titles and f**k off.

Cheers

Additionally I am aware that several items were sold under reserve accidentally and in 1 case the pinball was not going to be released unless the reserve price was paid. I believe that was not accepted by the bidder and a fair cash compensation was offered. One has to approach auctions of this type with both eyes open I've been reminded. An auction like this was where I bought my first machine 7 years ago though, so not all bad.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome  ^^^

Greetings again Timelord.

It was a pleasure meeting you at Joe's last night.
Love your personal number plate - is your car actually bigger on the inside than the outside?
Hope to see you again at some point in the space-time continuum.
