I recently asked a bunch of kids around 13/14YO ( my sons mates ) if they would play certain pinballs - threw a few idea's at them like 'Call of Duty' ( that all these guys are hooked on ) and some other popular PS3 games , thinking that would maybe create a connection - NOPE.

Then I said Angry Birds - they all said YES they would play that pinball !
I found that surprising

BAMBI for me. You know a nice light hearted, warm fuzzy feeling game that makes you feel happy to be alive and one with nature. You could have loads of butterflies on the playfield and maybe a mode where you do things and the DMD displays Bambi playing happily on the woods. And maybe a wizard mode where you have shoots multiballs around the playfield to reunite Bambi with her mother.

Don't you think that would be a winner?

Nah that's not pinball, WAR OF THE WORLDS or even TOMB RAIDER if you could get some kind of spikes thing happening that can really f@&k your ball. Loads of Hurry Up type modes but rather than timing out, you get major penalties like loss of ball. Now that would make you concentrate on completing missions than just one big flip fest.

Were the one's made when we were kids - a couple of bullet head nails, rubber bands, clothes pegs and a marble ball....priceless!!

ps - can anyone name the pinball machines that are in Brokeback Mountain that's on tv now??

Beatles - Yellow Submarine (saw a scale model of a fictional Yellow Submarine machine on ebay the other day and it looked awesome. I also like the look of those toy ones on ebay as well).
The Matrix - Have been toying with designs for a Johnny Mnemonic conversion cab in Photoshop, but that's as far as I got.
Motley Crue - Music plus the look of the band would be cool.
A Clockwork Orange - like others have mentioned.
Nine Inch Nails - Favourite band. Another re-theme idea I had, but never got past the Photoshop cabinet stage.
Marilyn Manson - Another one of my favourite bands.

It is a game where by using a catapult you fling (different types of) birds at various structures housing pigs in order to destroy the pigs usually by demolishing said structures.
