The best pinball never made.
« on: December 15, 2011, 11:44:40 AM »
Titles and themes that have not been explored in pinball.
Is there a theme or title that has not been made that you would love to see in production?
For me I would dig on a nrl or punk rock themed pin in a heartbeat....I would prob be the only buyer though.... :lol

My favorite Movie of all time is "Escape from New York". That would be an awesome theme.

Hell yes!!
Snake Pliskin is back!!
One of John Carpenters best for sure, fantastic director...although I will always have Halloween as my #1 JC film.
EFNY is slotted for a remake as well.

Would have to be a "Snake Pliskin Ramp" and a "Duke" Ramp. Video mode could be the fight in the ring, and the match animation would be the image of Snake Pliskin rolling out the audio tape (at the end of the movie).

So many modes !

Great ideas

Bridge chase mode for sure, glider on the trade center as a toy, cabbies taxi as a toy. The apron could be the top of the wall of the prision, the backglass is the movie poster..can't get any better than that and the artwork in the same style as the film sells itself, dark and gritty.
I could see it full of toys and fast flow, someone give steve ritchie a call...this is a goer!

(1) Predator
(2) Addams Family Values
(3) AC/DC if the rumours are wrong

1 & 2 are really old hat, but I reckon they'd be great.

Deep throat.  Can you imagine some of the skill shots.  You could starrt another thread about what you could call the ramp and other specialty shots.

I wont even start about the bg and cab art possibilities.

the 'Matrix' Licence would have been perfect for Stern (the first movie  #@# )

Smokey and the Bandit

Batman (the 60's TV show) maybe TDK with reworked art, instead of the Joker, the bat mobile on a turntable

I think "Dukes of Hazard" would be cool, maybe a ramp with a gap - jumping those bridges, Daisy Duke of course with a nice set of long legs, smash through the barn or road blocks.

I have had this discussion a few times and I will say what I say every time. Fear and loathing in las-vegas. The sound bites alone. "We cant stop here this is bat country"

Yes, the member who has nominated "Smokey and the Bandit" is spot on.  ^^^  That beautiful black 6.6 litre car would make for some great artwork.

Imagine the audio with the 6.6 litre motor being revved up. ! A large gold eagle with 454 on the playfield.  Thats one hot pinball machine for sure. !  ^^^ ^^^

and Rads, yes the deep throat idea is also great. No one can say the title or idea sucks.  %.% %.%   ^^^

Also, its amazing that the Americans dont have a modern WAR style pinball made, like "Tour of Duty", "Halo" or something like "Baghdad Assault" etc. The whole artwork could be camo style army colours, with lots of neat playfield toys like F-18 Super Hornet Jets, Abram's Tanks, soldiers etc etc. These themes sell huge on X-Box n playstation so why not a WAR type pinball machine.  !@#
