Welcome to AP.
Shaker motor provides an extra feeling when activated - ie the machine will shake whilst the ball hits the pop bumpers.
Bling is a brand that makes balls.

Welcome to Aussie pinball.    I too will be fitting a shaker motor eventually what it does is shakes the entire machine at certain times of the game.

As or the bling balls the standard balls are just standard Pinballs bling balls are mirror finish and look

1.  my std stern balls were shiny as hell. I used them, they are fine/perfect.
2.  shaker motor takes 15 mins to fit. follow instructions, v easy.
3.  shaker motor adds alot. worth every cent of the $220.

well done Daniel(DDstoys)  ^^^

I even spoke to AMD and they agreed the software only allows the custom message to appear after touching the left flipper button(holding it in).
Which I found very very unusual compared to all my other DMD games, but AMD were correct, it does not appear again at all unless you press the left flipper button then hold it in.

I have since done the gamecode upgrade from version 1.25 to 1.4. I will see if its made a difference, but it certainly did not appear at all with V1.25.

Does your custom message Pete appear randomly without you touching the flipper buttons for 5/10 minutes etc ?  !@#

Pete, even with version 1.4, it doesnt show the custom message unless u press left flipper button. Will send off a email to Stern and see if they can add that to next gamecode upgrade, and will ADD a request for a attract mode adding music/audio for a 10 second burst on the attract mode, if they can make/invent a attract mode for the AC/DC models.

Pete, a question,  > if you hold your left flipper button in after a few left flipper press's, does your custom message appear that way as well ?  !@#
