Symptoms :- Pressing test button gives sound every time but in gameplay there is no sound unless you reseat the connector to the speaker , then sound will work for a while but sooner or later drops out again.
All connectors have previously been repinned (except the speaker connector) .
I thought the speaker connector might be the problem but can't see how given every time you press the test button you get sound.
When I got this game a few years ago there was no sound at all, I replaced the CPU and sound Proms with new ones at that time .
Have also reflowed all the connector pins on the board a while ago.
Anyone got any suggestions ?
Would love to finally fix this annoying fault.
