just in case anyone was curious about the backglasses:

from pin side: "Stern won't sell LE backglasses. And if yours breaks, you have to send whatever is left of it back to them to get a replacement.

The Pro translites are another matter, you can order those from just about any Stern parts distributor."

I agree, this pin looks like it will appeal more to young kids or big kids

They are recessed and sit flush to the playfield in a routed edge, unlike Medieval Madness as they rest on the playfield with mylar squares around the edge."

Sounds like that might be a recipe for pf wear.

I am hearing a few Aussies are canceling their LE orders, price is just getting to high.

On the flip side I reckon once the lcd's come out the price of a LE stern will be around 10k, so this may be one of the last better buys for pro and LE before they turn into a LCD.

Too much spent on acdc maybe and the fact that many bought multiple acdc le in the hope of making big profits off the sale of one, only to be stuck with them.
As I said before, I hope the numbers on this title here are low!

Pinball themes will fluctuate in popularity over time. ACDC will climb in popularity with the bands next album and tour and then may drop again when the band winds down a bit. The true test of a collectable and highly sought after pin may not be seen for at least ten years. If the game play and rules remain a challenge and the theme remains relevant and fresh, a well maintained pin will hold its value.

All we need now is a gameplay video, that would be sweet.
I am really looking forward to see how the the nightcrawler pop ups, the spinning disc and the ice slide moving ramps intergrate into gameplay on the LE as well as audio and display. I think this will be a great player...fingers crossed.
