FUNNY BUT IT'S NOT

Doing a repair on a Bally corvette the motor won't shake shouldn't be to hard (wrong).  Found a few failed ics so ordered them in also a new ribbon cable as the old one had been kinked in half replaced the faulty Ic and rebuilt the 12v section for good measure plugged in the board and Bang...  Exploded the regulator !@#. WTF. Old regulator was doing an ok job just getting warm which is why I replaced it turns out some wanker had put the supply line from the 20v flasher supply to the almost 80v coil supply (damn good regulator if u ask me!!!)

Needless to say I'm sure most ics are stuffed  %.%

There are some pretty good techs out there!! At least it's in good hands now, good luck with sorting it mate.
