Blue Hologram CFTBL

If the hologram on a CFTBL is blue does this mean it is on it's way out?

Yes it does unfortunately, check out RTBB and get a green ablaze 9 led to change the effect, heard it will improve the look. Rumour is that the holos are going to be made again but will be a few hundred due to demand and license.

The problem is it is so unpredictable when it goes from green to blue to black.

It can turn blue in 6 months and then stay that way for the next 5 years before going black or it can turn very quickly.

I guess it is like the slogan for that Pantene shampoo ad,
