Mayfair Amusements - Anyone used them before?
« on: June 07, 2012, 09:54:12 PM »
Hey guys.
Has anyone bought anything from Mayfair amusements in the US, are they any good?
They have a brand new backglass for my Gorgar, from what I've been told Williams did a re-run in the early 90's.

Also, any ideas on how to get it here?

They don't send to Australia anymore. They used to, at a massively inflated prices. Three years ago, they had a NOS Spirit backglass that was priced at US$250, and the shipping "quote" was US$350. I bought a glass from Canada (CPR) and it cost me US$130 shipping.

You can buy great stuff from Mayfair, but you have to send to a USA address.

A mate suggested taping a coat hanger to it and putting a suit bag over it and taking it on the plane hehe
