Maybe it's a matter of trying to keep people informed who might not go to pinside etc.

not everyone goes to pinside and it's a balance as I have shared a bit with pinside as well,  including mirror blade files with Drano etc

we are all one big happy pinball family   and I have made sure to promote the people behind the designs.
