That bright Kawasaki green for the Hulk sure is eye candy...its grows n grows n grows on you....in ten years time, it will still look brand new n bright, it is just the brightest clour except for a very bright pink for example that u could throw at a pinball.....

Man, I want a HULK LE.......the heart says a Hulk or the Blue Avengers Team LE, but the pocket n brain say go the Avengers Pro and be budget conscious....the more I look at all these new Avengers models, the more I like what they have done....one of the best things they have done is to take FULL advantage of the playfields back panel and use it all for artwork and flasher domes in various colours...

**Also, did u guys notice that the ball shooter lane has a slight metal ramp so the ball will be getting airtime every time u shoot the ball, the metal insert about 6 or 8 inchs from where the ball starts from is angled up.....thats interesting as well.....its on both the Pro and the LE models...

here is a better shot, the metal ramp goes up to a plastic ramp so to speak that feeds the lock ball feature but still haven't worked out for sure where it goes at the top right corner. Click the image for a zoom up.

I agree, Brett. I already have a Hulk pinball, but if I was getting Avengers, the blue LE model is my favourite, but my budget every time is a pro model. Can never justify the extra spending.

I can avoid temptation now on Avengers, but if Stern had of incorporated an LCD with movie clips, I would have been Hulk green with envy.

Maybe a secondhand Avengers Pro in the future!

Cheers!
Adam.

here is the same spot on the LE but it has the ball lock lights there and the pro has them in the top left corner - reckon that would be a simple mod to relocate for the pro.

Also the LE has the lighting in the apron and not on the slings - again a bit of modification to the apron and the pro could have the same effect and cleaner slings

here are two shots of the LE & pro showing the differences with the extras features, still confused where the ball goes from the ball launch, any ideas.

They have actually used alot of flat plastics and some SS and no formed plastic ramps (I think) as well. Also noticed LE has a few more decaled plastics where the pro has clears in a few spots - so the pro will be open to mods to spec it up in looks. It looks like the left entry to the right ramp on the LE may need some more flipper strength as need to go a extra level up.

Due to the fact that I found the hi res flyers now we can compare LE with Pro's

Here the slings and flippers.
Pro - has red domes, lights on the slings
LE - has blue domes, lights at a guess are in the apron (with both of these able to be done to a Pro).

notice the apron location is different on the LE's exposing 2 holes - guessing pro apron mounting.

Is there any footage of the HULK yet??

He looks too far away from the ramp to be able to pick it up

here is the mid playfield.

on comparing you can see that the inserts for captain america are lower on the le and the hawkeye ramp entry and exit are actually a step higher than the left and right ramps

also noticed more graphics on the tesserect disc on the LE as well

No video yet ????? You would think 1 1/2 weeks out from Christmas that you would be trying to secure the people's Christmas spending money while you could.

I don't think he picks it up, to the right side of his left arm is a bracket disappearing into the plafield - I reckon there will be a solenoid that fires and it rotates this ramp up, my concern is the air ball if the ramp rotates up and you shoot a ball up the centre and it gets air time and may dimple the playfield

Ben Heck just posted on Pinside that he played it at GameWorks Schaumburg IL.

"Dots were very X Men like. Solid colors, no FMV like TF, SM or Tron.

Voices were sound alikes. God wasn't the custom Jk Simmons speech in SM awesome?

Mode Progression seems MB like, one shot pet character, advance 4 times to start mode.

Even though it's the same toy, Cube is physically smaller than ToTAN lamp."
