Monster Bash II, has Stern missed an opportunity?
« on: July 18, 2012, 07:54:46 PM »
I notice the Universal Studios is remastering the old classic horror movies for Blu-Ray
(The Mummy, Frankenstein, Creature From The Black Lagoon, The Invisible man, etc….)
Lego is also bringing out some playsets using these ‘Universal Monsters’

As we know, Monster Bash used these characters and remains a popular game today

While I know that Stern cannot use the name ‘Monster Bash’, a game using these characters appeals to me more than the 3 games that are rumored to be coming up next year

Nah, it's been done. Monster Bash 2 would not be a title that I would buy but if it ws made I hope it would be a tougher game than the original.
MB is too easy.

Why not get the old 1962 license (Title) from Bobby Pickett & The Cryptkickers?

Apparently they wanted too much for the licence back when williams was manufacturing the original, so it couldn't be used.
You would think they would rather get some money than none at all considering the song was over 30 years old by then  @.@
